-New map is a convoy map
-New event, another Cerebro Database event, unlocks a cyborg Hawkeye, looks like Hawkeye infected with the techno-organic virus. The 4 characters for the event in order are Iron Man, Black Widow, Magneto, and Ultron
-New twitch drops will have an Emma Frost costume and it will run from May 30th-June-27th
-The rank rewards for Season 2.5 will be Ultron with a Gold Ultron skin
-New store items are:
Groot - Yggroot Bundle (supposedly legendary skin)
Ultron - X-tron Bundle
Ultron - Mechanical Phantom (likely his basic recolor skin that everyone gets)
Mood icons - Chibi Jeff
-combat chest event on May 30th for rewards
-Notable Bug Fixes, some are technically buffs/nerfs:
Emma's primary fire will now gain charge when damaging Groot's walls
Peni won't get super bonus health regen anymore when she's stacking like 3-4 webs on the ground
Fixes to Peni's webbing going through the floor on the Hydra Frozen Airfield map when the map moved around 50%
New videos showcasing the Thor Hammer Throw changes/combos and the Jeff rework. Looks like Thor can pop into Awakening Form all the time because he regains 1 thorforce during the duration of his awakening and then a hammer throw+melee gets him to 3 thorforce all over again.

i appreciate them letting jeff do dmg with his primary but that piercing is just going to be obnoxious it's one of the reasons why sue is so damn powerful. Jeff has just as much self sustain and ability to escape too arguably more.
Thor seems alright having the ability to use awaken more often i something I think was needed but i think people will just stick to base form thor and be unkillable only popping thorforce when they need to kill something running away.

The problem with awakening is that while it can rip apart squishies, it also locks you in that state for 5 seconds and you can't use any other abilities, so you can't dash away to safety or generate more shields from consuming thorforce.
This change will help Thor become a strong poke character as he can generate Thor force at range with his hammer throw now and keep popping into awakening to throw lightning arcs, which have zero dropoff. However his abilities as a bruiser are nerfed now because he'll only generate 75 shields when using his charge instead of 100. So Thor going in and weaving storm surges for more shields is going to be a lot worse. All they need to do is allow Thor to cancel his awakening form and the changes would be fine.
His kill combo is now pretty scary because he can delete someone in melee range. Melee+Hammer Throw+first 2 arcs during his awakening form comes out to 250 damage in under 1 second. That's not even counting the obvious 3rd and 4th arcs from his attack combo that follow it up for another 140 damage and the passive 15 damage per second he does to people within 3m of him during awakening. So Thor's not really meant to be a bruiser now, he just eats people. He's like an inverse Mr. Fantastic where Mr. Fantastic is a duelist that is more of a vanguard but Thor is a vanguard that will play more like a duelist.

Well, I finally finished Trails into Reverie. Took a long time. I first started playing it back in July of 2023, but I kept falling off. But about two months ago, I decided to completely restart it, this time on normal difficulty because I've grown impatient of fighting the damage sponges in this series, and I finally stuck with it to finish it.
For my thoughts, obviously as a fan of the series, I liked it. It was great, and it was a real love letter to the series up to that point. Hell, damn near every playable character from the previous nine games, over 50 characters, are playable in this game. I spent tons of time just outfitting every single character to be able to beat their challenge stages. It's not one of my top favorite games in the series, but it was a good story while adding a ton of side stories and lore for all of the different characters.
I won't spoil anything, nor will I sperg too much about how much I enjoy the entire series because I could go on very autisticly for a ridiculous amount of time explaining even the smallest little details that I love about the series. What I will say is that, as this game is the epilogue to the previous two arcs, and also very related to the first arc, it's very interesting to actually see the entirety of the last ten games finally being capped off for now. Obviously, I know the series will continue with heavy ties to these games, but since damn near the start of the series, so much was leading up to the finale of the CS arc and this game. If it wasn't for some series-long unanswered questions and some sneak peaks of the next arc, if the series were to end here, it would have been a great way to end it. Thankfully, the series still has a lot of life to go, so it's still going.
One minor little spoiler I'll say: it was so awesome hearing The Azure Arbitrator, one of the greatest final boss themes of all time, again for the true final boss fight in the game.
I was thinking of taking a break from the series to play that Clair Obscur game...and I still might start that one soon....but I ended up installing the next Trails game after beating Reverie. Those little sneak peaks of the next arc have definitely caught my interest, so I'm going to immediately start it too. After catching up with the series after beating CS4 at the time, I eventually lost my hype for the series between releases, which is why I was real off-and-on with Reverie for almost two years. I can thankfully say that the hype is back for me again. So instead of continuing to nerd out about the series, I'm going to go boot it up now until I start passing out.
