My understanding of the YouTube algorithm is that dead subs like the ones Rin got from gaming shorts are actively terrible for your channel... YouTube seems to hate it if you have hundreds of thousands of subs but are a low 3 view when you actually go live. I imagine her career was essentially dead in the water when the shorts meta ended and now she's just seeking a crumb of attention.
