Yeah that seems to be the same Harlequin in the pippa reddit thread. To my knowledge on top of being a phase clipper some of the girls pay him for video editing.

Everyone who's spent any amount of time with lefty types on the internet knows that there are, fundamentally, no limits or boundaries. Everything is racist, everything is sexist, everything is problematic and you have to point it all out, at all times, or else you're just as bad.
Phase has been designated problematic years ago, and the fact that this dude actively promoted them via his clips and earned money from them via his editing commissions makes him problematic by proximity.

Mid/late last year i was very happy that 2024 has seen a massive uptick in Phase clippers, with a lot of new faces starting channels.
And now most of these channels are fucking dead, because after receiving an initial burst of popularity these people just latch on to the "official editor" position for one of the girls and stop running their own channels completely.
Tatchee at least, for instance, actually releases some content he's edited, fucking RVE just disappeared entirely because Jelly is apparently too apathetic to release YT shorts, or something? Same for Snacc/Phase Pilled, guy landed a "Hina's editor" position like two weeks before she went on hiatus in August and has never, i don't think, uploaded a vid on his own channel since.

Honestly makes me respect LEC even more, that guy is on the grind.

It's in part informed by having it happen multiple times across multiple creators for me. For various reasons, but generally as a member of the audience I find it a shame when the past is plastered over for the sake of a rebrand or artistic disappointment in one's early works. There was a youtuber I used to like who mass privated all her videos when she debuted as a vtuber, only to schizo out and quit anyway. I used to watch hololive way back and couldn't stand the waves of privating. Internal or external, it's a drag when it happens.
