I feel nothing. I should, Gura was one of my favorites, but I just don't. I'm tired. 2020 feels like an eternity ago. The magic is all gone...

I know I will bounce up from it, especially since it is not an unexpected departure, but still...
I stuck with Holo, because in 2020, in a world gone of the rails, it felt like a stable rock...and now, I am not sure...heck, at this point I am almost expecting to see yet another "Important announcement" more than anything in a Holodex.
Coupled with problem in real lie, its all very draining, to say the least.

Yeah, it is my fault for emotionally investing so much in, basically, strangers who entertain me for money, but, I guess, it can't be helped.

Where instead of blank background + text thumbnails we'll keep fan spirits high and seed doubt by changing graduation announcements to indiscriminate bust/headshots with the talent smiling. Did they forget about pattern recognition? Especially when the pattern plays out in a chain reaction over the last ~6 months? lmfao.

Yeah, I've mentioned it before, but the shark was basically all that was keeping me together emotionally and giving me a reason to get up and move forward during that period where lockdowns were seeming like they were going to stretch on forever, because we were well past any sort of "temporary" justification and people were writing articles about how this was just how society was going to be from now on. I don't know what kind of embittered person I'd be today if she wasn't there at that exact moment to be able to show me something beautiful and good and to put a smile on my face, and keep me from falling into a blackpilling abyss for the next couple years. I'm not the type to believe a streamer is my waifu or something (and even if I were she's not my type in that sense), but there's a feeling of affection and gratitude I have towards her that's stronger than anything I have for anyone not in my immediate family.

I'm pretty sure Mumei straight up said this style of thumbnail was their way of giving aways as much as they could without outrigt saying it, because she knew a vague "announcement" would just cause anxiety, so basically this is 99% sure a graduation.

I'm sad and Gura is definitely great when she actually streams but... yeah. She's been afk for so long. Ame and Mumei were honestly the same way, I'm sad they're graduating but for a while they didn't really feel like a part of EN anyways. Fauna's graduation announcement hit me way harder.

What was Gura like? Despite being told I'd like her I had dropped off Holo when she was newer, and either way favored JP. Whenever ppl write about her it's nothing but praise though.
