• Has been going to the hospital more often (2-3 times a week now) for her nose/throat treatment. Yelling hard with Miko during Monster Hunter doesn't really help, but they love the game so far and it always turns into a 3-hour laughing/screaming session.
• Recently had a game party with Fubuki, Okayu, along with Shiina and Saku from Niji. Subaru thought she hadn't hung out with anyone from Niji in a while, but realized she talked with Salome and Rena recently.
• There was a Metaphor: ReFantazio exhibition where they talked about stuff like the game's UI and art direction. It was a pretty fun time.
• Realized she tends to be pretty shy during formal business meetings.
  • The main reason is that they usually happen right after she wakes up so she's usually tired.
  • She's also bad with memorizing names and faces, so she's never sure if the person she's talking to was someone she met before.
  • She can also never tell if someone is a Hololive staff member or a random person.
  • She tends to just hang around her manager during these times and ask "Who's this/who's that?"

The good news for Kiara is that herniated disc surgeries are so commonplace they've actually gotten pretty good at it. You're in for an MRI, check in and prepare for surgery, which usually takes less than 30 minutes thanks to surgical microscopy.
Assuming she wants surgery, there's also physiotherapy with mixed results.

Physiotherapy works for some of the most minor disc issues wherein therapy and exercise to strengthen the back muscles can help fix/alleviate the issue (I have a friend who still competes in powerlifting who has had similar minor disc problem in the past). Kiara's case, just going by how severely in-pain she is, seems to be something that's long overdue for corrective surgery. The main hang-up for her is likely going to be the recovery time and its impact on her streaming/3D activities. It'll likely take a full year for complete healing post-op - with up to 3-months of post-surgery physical therapy and being advised to stay off high-impact activities. Dancing is definitely going to be off-limits for at least 6 months. And these are all ideal scenarios. Though TBH, I think Kiara's done a pretty good job of cultivating an active/dedicated loyal fanbase that she can get away with just the bare minimum streaming activities for up to a year without shedding those numbers.
