The voter distribution is kind of interesting. I live in a state that's always blue, so I just assumed that I was in a small minority as a conservative. Turns out that my town, and most of the towns around me, are all red. If you don't live in a city, or right next to one, odds are your town voted for Trump.

The voter distribution is kind of interesting. I live in a state that's always blue, so I just assumed that I was in a small minority as a conservative. Turns out that my town, and most of the towns around me, are all red. If you don't live in a city, or right next to one, odds are your town voted for Trump.

I don't really agree with the notion of art versus artist because in the case of a streamer the art IS the artist. Sure there are special cases, Fuwamoco, Kizuna AI and a handful of others but for the most part streamers sell themselves first through the lens of an act or idea
Alex Jones might be hyper characterized, DSP, Hasan etc but you know they are just versions of themselves. In the Vtuber realm for instance I was a fan of Magni. Was his Lando persona all that different? Not really, it was the content that was different. And that's why I can't really divorce the player from the game. Like if I listen say to a Johnny Winter song. It's his song on display. But if I am watching a streamer, it is them on display.

Clara being disappointed and a bit of a sperg about Kamala is a little disappointing, but not surprising, unless you somehow thought a female vegan was going to prefer Trump over Kamala.
But let's put this into perspective - Kamala had a fairly solid base within the female demographic, and got nearly 48% of the total vote, so at least a few of your oshis like Kamala over Trump, even if they haven't told you. Clara didn't promote Kamala or denigrate Trump on main (or even her vent accounts), and only complained after the election. So far it hasn't interfered with her work, she didn't (and couldn't) even vote for Kamala, and I highly doubt Clara actually donated any money to her, or Democrat campaigns in general, given her general lack of money and how US politics and laws have little influence over her life.
If Clara had promoted Kamala, or appeared to give her money, I'd be more annoyed and change my opinion, but overall, this feels like a nothingburger to me.

Let me introduce you to Celestium - this two-view vtuber is having a grand time since Trump won. She's a devout Christian, Hispanic/Latina, and absolutely despises the term "Latinx", so she seems pretty based, for a woman. She's doing a bit of election sperging (affectionate, not derogatory) so I think she's fine to mention here.
I haven't watched her content but I'm hoping I can change that.

I've said it before, but assuming your oshi, who's more than likely a young college-educated woman from the Left Coast, somehow votes for God-Emperor Trump is a stretch. I still like Airi, but I'm not gonna kid myself and assume she's that based.
