In hindsight, sure that makes sense, but personally if I was dealing with someone who was being cagey about commitment to a project/performance and then threw out a "I tried to kill myself" I'd want some proof on that front and make the decision from there. Bear in mind at this point, she's already said "I went to see my sister but her health wasn't great so I came back" as a cover for fucking herself up with a razor. Yes, she actually did hurt herself, but without proof that she was serious it just sounds to me, having dealt with someone doing that exact shit, as escalating a manufactured drama to pitybait asspats so they could buy some time to just do nothing when they should have been crunching.
If she's really that desperately broken over her mental health issues she shouldn't be fucking around trying to push herself for something as meaningless as vtubing, she should be getting some help to make sure she's in her best state. Instead though despite being desperate enough to try to end her own life over her troubles, she also keeps subjecting herself to the stress that was probably a major factor in the last breakdown and making excuses. She should have been upfront from the beginning about it and explaining what has happened, then I could agree that she needs to step back, have some time to rest and heal, re-evaluate whether she wants to do this or not and press on from there. The 'worst' that Tard has done is not believe her immediately when she says she tried to kill herself and not immediately cancel operations over unsubstantiated claims. If she posted the wound, or medical papers and he kept pushing then sure, he's being a fuck, but in my perspective it just seems more like he's trying to wrangle an unreliable asset and she throws out a sob story mid-wrangling and the best he can do it "Uh, well, we still need to see how it all works out".
Might just be my autistic ass not understanding the importance of social nuances, but there's such a massive problem with communication in general that I think everyone would benefit from being clear and direct with their words.
