Actually agree with Pippa, most people read really shit books that are basically pop corn bullshit. The thing I'd say that reading helps is that it retains better and can go more in depth and video or audio content.
Just purely statistically, classic literature had innumerably less garbage, because there were more illiterate people, and not every retard who got hit by a car or diddled a child could write a memoir.
That shit was wild, the Japanese historical society dug into it, found he was giving different talks in Japan than the West, then he DFE'ed but not before claiming he had no connection to Ubisoft despite them having an interview with him where they said he was the primary source for the game and he admitted it was all just him guessing that maybe what he said actually happened.
