Without knowing more, it's hard to say. There could be issues have a minor effect on performance that haven't been found. He mightn't be keeping up with proper internal maintenance and cleaning of the various parts of the car and be getting slight reductions in horsepower, for example. Or Coomalot could just be a retard that hasn't been able to distinguish between a love of car racing with capability in competing in car racing. It's not as if he's ever done well racing and this is an anomaly.
