Elestrals MSRP for the booster boxes are $129.99 until tomorrow, starting with the Firestorm release, when it will increase to $139.99 to accommodate for Tariffs. The boxes being sold for less are from third-party sellers, who either bought them in bulk or are otherwise offloading them, which also increases the risk of it being tampered with - buy at your own risk! Because of the chance of serialized cards, Elestrals is ripe with scalpers, who otherwise drive down the cost of the game overall by mass-selling their bulk. An X/99 card is worth around $200, while an X/10 is worth around $3,000, so fighting against scalpers is very real!
Why do people pay MSRP for Elestrals at LGS and their website? Because that's where you get the exclusive promo cards, that often make up the cost in the aftermarket. There are differing promo cards for LGS and the Elestrals website itself, encouraging people to support both. For example, during the rest of this month you can get Stellar Majursa and Glaciursa if you order from the Elestrals website, as well as BOGO on their shattered stars bundles (their monthly "collector's series" of three packs in a bundle). So if Pippa had bought her Booster Box on the Website, she would have had two sets of promo cards (possibly an additional two sets for non-Firestorm boxes), and two bundles of shattered stars to go along with it, potentially free shipping as well!
...If she wanted Sundile, she should have purchased a Daybreak booster, or one of the Daybreak starter decks for guaranteed Sundile!
EDIT: schizophrenia made me mistake Sundial for something else entirely, so edited for clarity + accuracy!
