The only use I can really get from it is sometimes people will have found solutions for very oddly-specific tech issues on there.

This and some gaming subs are useful/funny. Was fun watching "the wiggle" break the official tarkov reddit so hard the community made another one not ran by the devs.

I do not understand why anyone would willingly go out of their way to use Reddit on a regular basis, it feels even more intentionally designed to make you miserable than X somehow.

It was so strange witnessing all these non-political gaming subreddits (which are still a really good place for game discussion) banning Twitter en masse, especially when the dev news itself comes from Twitter. That pretty much got rid of the last reason for me to use Reddit, a stupid obstacle to gaming discussion because muh "Elon is a nazi" or whatever (Reddit is just as guilty by their logic but chronic redditors are stupid as hell).

They also set the default sort to Best recently as opposed to Hot (on my end, could be a waves thing), so now only already upvoted content is shown, even if it's from a week or two ago. They're killing their platform's accessibility and courting a hyper-specific, obnoxious audience.

I think the bigger issue on this is that people assume people she interacts with are trying to get in on the "Pippaverse", and that if they don't sperg out about said person, they'll worm their way in on interacting more and feel it's their personal battle to stop that from happening.

This place is sometimes guilty. I am as well. I think the bigger issue on this is that people assume people she interacts with are trying to get in on the "Pippaverse", and that if they don't sperg out about said person, they'll worm their way in on interacting more and feel it's their personal battle to stop that from happening.

I think people are just more sensitive to others trying to leech off her after the Rackets/Camelot debacle, especially since Pippa is far too forgiving of very clear red flags. I get that it's annoying for her to see this shit every time she talks to someone new, but it hasn't came from nowhere.

Part of it is probably that this is a dedicated thread to her entirely and during downtime it means people are bored and look at shit like the Xitter timelines to find things to talk about amongst themselves. I'd assume the boards might not really have this dynamic as much because conversation can just shift to one of the other Phase girls whereas this is a thread about one person entirely.
