I wish Pippa had participated too. Mainly because while I do like the rest of Phase Connect, I rarely get the opportunity to watch any of them other than Pippa due to overlap and/or poor start times for my own schedule. So having some Phase collabs come out of it would've been quite fun and probably a lot more fun than the collab she did with Chromu because good god those girls have no empathy for her being an awkward sperg at all.So now that the Phase Academy is now closed (even though Tenma has her biology stream left), what are our thoughts?
I thought it was a great event. Plenty of talents participating, lots of content variety. I'm a fan of the shorter livestream format most of the streams had, and it was a good opportunity to catch up on some talents I don't watch as often. There was obviously a lot of effort put in for art and assets, which I appreciate.
My favourite streams for the event were probably Lumi's "Nerd Alert" stream (Lumi does fun roleplay streams and this is a great example), and Hina's "Yearbook Club" stream was really fun. Might have to see more Hina streams because she had a fun vibe during her stream. Might go back and catch some of the shorter VODs and the music videos.
If I had to make some minor complaints, I wish Pippa had participated, and Saya's affiliation status got some use here, although I totally get that their brainworms held them back in signing up. Also Lia's otaku stream got deleted for some reason, which I'm annoyed I missed, and I can't find an archive for. Wouldn't have minded a bit of a teaser for the upcoming Invaders, but whatever. As I said though, minor complaints.
Overall, great event. Great work in helping organize this one, Rie.
To be a tsundere there needs to be an actual dere phase at times which she utterly lacks in the original run, I stand by my stance that she's just a bitch regardless of her issues. If Asuka was the prototype then Rin Tohsaka is when writers finally did the tsundere right.Asuka is the tsundere that nearly every tsundere anime character has been based off of since she debuted in 1995, and she's one of the most well-written examples of the character trope. She has legitimate reasons why she struggles to admit to liking Shinji, such as her traumatic past and not wanting to admit to liking Shinji, who is a more capable pilot than she is, and the culmination of her character arc is her opening up to Shinji is her letting Shinji in emotionally and showing him affection when she strokes his cheek.
There's a lot of ways you can watch and interpret Neon Genesis Evangelion but I don't know how any of them include reading Asuka as anything other than a tsundere character.
that was made in chinaFoids, not folds.
Nice try, I suppose.
Shiina? Or the shirt?that was made in china
bothShiina? Or the shirt?
This one goes first (I think)

How does Runie keep failing to hear the loud as hell knocking sound in this game? Chat has to keep reminding her to answer the door.
Not a Runie watcher, does she by any chance have ADHD?Runie has really bad hearing.
That's pretty much it, she just doesn't hear things. It affects her gaming and it also affects her singing, she always has trouble with timing music to synchronize, and her ability to hear and match rhythms isn't great either. I think there's a part of it that has to do with how she focuses her attention, like, she can't read game interfaces like heath bars, or popup text, or "press E to ____" either, these things just don't register to her unless she focuses directly at them or they're right on top of something she was already looking at. Something similar goes on with her ability to hear audio its just not as easy to recognize.
