The yarn spun here is very believable, but I find myself doubting that any Phase Staff would ever post on /pcg/ as Phase Staff.

I find it extremely hard to believe a Phase staff member would do something like this. It'd be insanely bad optics to have a staff member actually engaging with an imageboard, and if it were true I'd imagine there'd be a witch hunt inside the company to find who did it and eject them.

So either gayop or cluelessness is in my book.

I guess it's a little better to hear that she's regaining her appetite and starting to go out, but it really sucks to hear she's been in this sort of state. At this point, there's plenty of theories on what the cause could be, but there's really no way of knowing for sure what it could be, so I have no reason to latch onto any of them.

I just hope Jelly takes all the time away she needs, and she gets through this soon. I hate seeing someone as sweet as her going through something like this.

I would take any so-called "Phase Staff" post on /pcg/ about as seriously as anyone claiming to work at Nintendo. It's been known for ages that Jelly has tiger parents who don't approve of her life choices and that's why she's a depressed wreck all the time.
