Had to VOD catch Ekko's debut:
- "Welcome to the Ekko chamber" - Cute, I like that; and I like this RPG music intro that has the feel of 'meeting the eccentric NPC in the woods'.
- Cheeky ocean opening
- Starting with the pee jokes...
- Did she have a plan for this opening? It feels like we're just bouncing around with no direction right now
- I do like the IDEA of 'pop-up ads on fake website' to showcase things that she likes or merch, it was just implemented very awkwardly during the stream
- speaking of, Vallure shout out after the mommy voice ad
- Model outfit overall is alright. IMO, she should have had something on her model to contrast all the black, besides the skin tone
- I don't think she's been practicing her singing during her sabbatical. Even doing a parody song, you should be able to hear her skill; and I've heard her do better as Kilia. Hopefully the debut cover she will release will be better.
- ASMR streams on Twitch...
Honestly, if I didn't know who she was before, this debut didn't sell me on her content. She was kind of all over the place, and didn't have any pacing. Only time will tell if she'll return to form for me.

Overall I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for her debut. It definitely had a lot of bits that felt like Twitch pandering (I know she's always had her degenerate side but it was more significantly more unabashed today imo), but I think a lot of it was at least somewhat scripted and, at the risk of outing myself as fully schizo, I think there's a decent chance she had a little readjustment this week. The 4chan acknowledgement and subsequent discussion on her Discord seems to have been a slight turning point and I would consider myself slightly optimistic about a return to overall form.Had to VOD catch Ekko's debut:

Outside of general feel, she's admitted she hasn't practiced singing as much during her hiatus so she's aware of that at least. The model and outfit is okay but the rigging is an ENORMOUS downgrade from Kilia 1.0. She's expressed unhappiness with the model and is already working on a 2.0 with Kilia's mama, but honestly I expected a downgrade - OG Kilia was one of the best models I've ever seen - but when I remind myself of Kilia's 2.0 it's not as bad of a downgrade since I didn't particularly like that model.
While it wasn't perfect, this is the first time I've really gotten the Kilia feeling since the Twitter spaces. I have legitimately no idea why she want's to do ASMR on Twitch, I've seen plenty of VTubers do WAY more lewd ASMRs on YouTube than she's ever done that have never been "bonked," but It's a small price to pay for most streams being YouTube exclusive though - that should basically remove worries of too much Twitch pandering.
