As someone fairly active reading the discord, the mod drama is bullshit because a guy named Xyz pointlessly brought back one single comment a mod made on junebug weeks ago and kept arguing something be done about it even though he's the only one that made it a big deal to begin with.

Once Kirsche and Nym started talking about the mod quit and left because he was tired of being one of the only active mods that interacts with the community and them not calling out Xyz for being an autistic sperg because in some people's words, "Kirsche and Nym are too retarded to know how to archive streams so they don't want their main archiver to leave at any cost." Xyz has always been a severely autistic fag that has cried and left the server before because Nym purged some messages in a channel. Kirsche has to always be sympathetic and supportive to him for some reason and it made a few people today annoyed, Elfather the mod especially. I'll say he was probably on of the best mods they had despite being a zoomer.

So overall, discord was a mistake, but Xyz has always been a mega autistic fag.

Since Kirsche was back in the discord talking, more people seemed to have switched sides or loosened their opinions a bit about the drama. Personally not a fan of how it was handled and I think Nym deserves more blame, not just for this, but for being head mod then not feeling like being head mod so he just ignores it or does a kneejerk timeout or whatever else. Xyz is also still an annoying autist, he's nowhere as bad in Pippa's community because he doesn't have to archive and doesn't have a sway and direct line with the streamer and mods.

Before it was just a role you had to apply, then it became the role plus a week wait, then a week wait, and now some arbitrary userscore depending on how much you chat. Each new change somehow makes the channel worse than before.
