Nimi said that she fell out of love with ASMR and planned on trying to rekindle it so I doubt her leaving Holo had anything to do with ASMR

Huh. I believe the thought was it was going to be Asagi doing Nimi's new model/design, but I do wonder if Namie might show up for one of the retired Hololivers. Hadn't really considered that, mostly because Namie's brain is so gacha-pilled at this point.
I always expected we'd see her as the artist behind one of the designs for a new Hololive member someday, but this seems even more likely.
