I think that this forum in general has become very quick to wildly misinterpret events as soon as they happen, and immediately form our own narratives of what is going on which then become our new reality.
For people that claim to bitch and moan about the twitter troons blowing everything out of proportion, some of the people here seem to act in the same way.
This bitch seems dumb as hell, ngl. Thinking whatever caused her to quit was her gross overreaction to something management did.
Indies: STOP JOINING CORPOS WITH THE EXPECTATION OF BEING ABLE TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT
She probably had 0 expectations of what being a Vtuber meant. Multiple times she mentioned not really being in tune with the "culture". She knows anime but what was and what wasn't allowed in the Vtuber scene was a bit alien to her. She always was upfront with chat about it and I'm pretty sure she expressed at one point not knowing how she made it in since she had that debuff.
"I can't legally disclose what exact terms of my contract were bad, but I can schedule a stream and then give a reason for why I can't do that and let you do the rest of the guesswork". Fucking Holo is cool with members having borderline (or even past) R18 content on alt yet this new hot shit is trying to be restrictive about it
Edit: In other words, read your fucking contract and don't think you can argue to change it after you already signed up for it, just don't sign it
I have a feeling it has to do with a contract clause, possibly a Non-Compete because she resigned. It might not apply if you get fired or if you don't renew your contract. That said Zaion still hasn't streamed either.
Honestly, it might be for the best. Riifu was a bit "special" when it comes to the things she said and honestly, this seems like a huge disaster waiting to happen where she could possibly breach NDA. Especially if she saw familiar names pop up in chat and started calling them Riiflings or some shit.
I can understand not being able to stream in the vtuber scene for a while, but not streaming at all? A noncompete that broad would probably get thrown out if it was put in front of a judge. Whether she has the resources to fight that is sad to think about though.
Might be for a short time. Honestly, she should keep streaming as a Vtuber/3d similar to what Kson was doing as it is a way to attract a "new" audience that she was only starting to dip her toes on with the anime avatar thumbnails and whatnot. I am not sure how Pornhub works when it comes to monetization but since I have never seen an ad on that site it probably isn't that great. Maybe open a Chaturbate for her 3d streams ( and her 2d more risque ASMRs for tips, doesn't have to go full nude). She can stream on Twitch or Youtube (probably focus on Youtube since she has the channel there already and already has monetization) for more gaming-related and talking streams to pump up her numbers. The chaturbate thing doesn't work out she can paywall behind Onlyfans or Patreon (Patreon sucks and can take the content down for being sexual).
Is there actually something more to go on than a vague "Legal Implications" why she can't stream. Not saying she's lying, but maybe I'm just too skeptical and don't trust people easily to make that assumption.
I remember this isn't the first time people have made the claim about non-compete clauses in contracts, though it's always been a circumstantial claim, as far as I know. I didn't see a clip from kson saying she had to wait to join Vshojo, it seemed more like by the time she decided to join a major event was near so they held off.
Also all the vtubers I've seen graduate or get terminated are pretty much steaming within a week, shit even the people from a literal black company Wactor, haven't had issues getting back to streaming after leaving.
I really don't care enough about this particular situation, but find it interesting people are jumping on the "Company Evil" bandwagon instantly.
So either EiEN drafted some pretty fucky wucky contracts despite being a small corpo, (she isnt even doing vtubing content) or maybe there is a chance theres a grade A menhera moment and she is not telling the whole story. Then again, maybe the stream seemed too soon and directly shitting on her old company that she decided to walk some snark back in case she got sued, or a lawyer advised her to
People will often go for the company evil mindset given how unclear some things are and its easier to side with the individual than the huge company. Maybe I am retarded but honestly, some sort of vague explanation of what was breached could help keep things a bit more transparent. I'm not asking for a shopping list of war crimes like they did with Zaion (as that also leads to people using that information against you when your other talents do the same shit).
RRAT:
I don't think her +18 content was a problem but she was still releasing some content on those other accounts while at the same time complaining about health problems. That could have been part of the problem. Why are you complaining about health problems when you are overworking yourself not only for the company but also managing to release content on the side. This maybe breached the contract in some way and when she got called out for it she got pissed and decided to resign because her other channels are currently giving her more ad revenue. If she depends on that content to be her main income to pay her bills and shit she cant really risk fully closing down on it despite Vtubing possibly being a better payout in the long run.
I know it's possibly another woman menhera moment but I feel like it's going to be a big thing we're going to be seeing a lot more of in the vtuber community
>small corp starts up to ride on the new vtuber industry in the west
>hire random weeb egirls to do their tiktok shit behind anime avatars
>the girls don't read their contract, just sign away immediately because "wow, I'm finally going to make it!"
>girls find out 3 months after debuting that there's strict rules that they didn't read or there's other idol shit that they didn't know of
>small corp doesn't hesitate to heavily punish the girls because small corp doesn't know how to manage or is scared and wants to protect their small margins
>girls find out that being at a corp is actually a job and they have to follow rules and have responsibilities, causing them to have a menhera meltdown
>girls can't handle the amount of work or they believe they're getting cucked by the contract, resulting in another reaping
This goes both ways. In Kawaii's case it seems the company was not really working with Gen 3 to promote them (events, ads, merch, covers) and only focusing on Gen 1 and 2 (and the 3rds) so Gen 3 just bounced as a whole.
I am expecting Kou to turn out to be "Uruka, but without the crippling depression and she streams"
Apparently a hag, but I haven't found anything that suggests that? Only the tidbit where she implies having been born in the 90s?
e: Plays valorant and apex, nevermind dropped.
I still have to watch her. I liked the hag (but im a coomer) and the loli seemed pretty cute. Loli has very good anime taste, dont think the hag showed anime taste, guessing shes a normie.
While waiting for Shiina. Which one will get pregnant in a few months? Which one will be the menhera one that gets fired because she is obsessed with BTS? Which one will sabotage the group out of spite/jealousy? Which one will have nudes leaked?
