I mean, after all those yab I sincerely believe alot of people now will be considering on Niji. But at the same time, there would still plenty of people, be it indies or ex-corpos who felt like going to Nijisanji is a more better choice despite knowing all the shit-heap the management are doing.
It could be something like "oh, I just want to be on the same company as my oshii", maybe they feel like being a corpo is a good way to advance to their career and is either too wary for the smaller corpos or doesn't feel like they are good enough for Hololive. Or maybe they just desperate. Desperate enough to take it rather than going the safe way out or thinking "Eh, I can just learn things and bits, then ditch if I feel like it's good enough", who knows.

Brief look into a Kathryn Taylor shows a location of Redding, CA with Chico, CA as a past location (archive). Considering her listed age of 37, this would line up with Rory's listed age of 39. However this conflicts with his 2010 tweet that he had just turned 23 (which would put him at 35 now). That shared address of 1037 Hazel St, Chico, CA is a 2bd 1ba house (archive). The address lists residents as Rory, Kathryn, and a Kenny Warren (archive).

In the 2013 video's comment section, is a comment by @theRJAnderson, likely his youtube account (archive). While the only videos are from 14 years ago, the "Favorites" playlist was last updated on March 17th, 2022.
The youtube account links to a Myspace account that is largely dead. However on March 1st, 2015, he updated his "Top 8" with a Chelsea Taylor (archive). Currently no leads on whether there is any familiar connection to this Chelsea Taylor and the aforementioned Kathryn Taylor. His connections on his Myspace link to another account named "Rory J.L. Anderson" (archive). In this second account, it lists Rory Anderson and a Michelle Anderson in his top 8. Both accounts of Rory listed Shasta Lake as their location. There is also a connection with a Tamara Johnson, who may be the earlier mention "Tami" that is potentially Rory's sister.
Overall he may not actually be living in Chico, as the only tweets referencing Chico are more than a decade old and he's likely living in Redding now. He may have been going to college in Chico. He mentions on June 12th, 2010 that school starts in 2 months (archive) and then he says he's leaving Chico and going back to Redding on Nov 10th, 2010 (archive). So he either finished up an extra quarter that likely went from August to October or alternatively he may have dropped out.
