I know nothing of her, other than the baseball comment thing, and I'm sure it's not the only reason for this, but I do want to say to all the insane and butthurt baseball fans who got mad over the comment:

Having done enough Discord announcements, this just happens. But it is hilarious.
This is for @Ant Hime as well, but having been roped into the Sony/Muso/TLOU2 strike-a-thon by accident a couple of years ago, I do know a lot about the system. So, a couple of key points.
- Copyright Claims are, on YT, put in favor of the claimer.
- Muso is a real, legitimate IP Right, contracted company out of the UK, which is important because
- A Claim is civil, legal claim in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
- By using a UK company as a servicer, it makes actually use the Legal system much more annoying.
- However, the companies are required to consider Fair Use before making a claim.
- A false claim is a de facto case of Perjury, though it's civil in this situation.
- If Froot is still in the States, she's liable for that perjury as Muso is her paid for representative.
YT's system is beyond F'd, but that's only because Copyright Abusers only attack small channels. Sony had a 8 figure liability from the TLOU2 strike spree, and I was trying to get a few creators to pursue it. But you know how it is. It's times and, some, monetary investment. And few really want to start wars with giant companies. (Please ignore that they were in de factor violation of DMCA law when they struck channels for simply talking about it the game.)
Though the biggest issue in fighting is always if you don't have a company, representatives or at least a PO Box, you end up doxxing yourself to proceed with proper counter claims. You'd not be surprised how much that comes up.
So, the way to normally deal with this is to return a polite email pointing out that, having not properly considered Fair Use in their claim when it's obviously Fair Use (I watched the video, but I don't remember every second. But as long as there isn't long stretches with no commentary, you're more than in the clear.), they are guilty of perjury and false statements of fact, and you'd prefer if they just removed the claim before it requires the necessity of pursuing legal action.

Side point: I will not openly explain, but YT's copyright system is beyond abusable. With a little bit of prep work, you can obliterate any channel to the point it would actually require Neil to step in to stop. I'm glad antis haven't figured it out, but it's so easy I'm really confused why it's only come to light about twice as actually happening. One of them was only stopped because the moron emailed Bungie taunting them.

I said last time that if Nijisanji ends up firing Gundou or Gwelu too, then it's an entirely different company than they used to be. And now they did. The de jure technicalities of how it was handled and announced are entirely irrelevant. She was put in a position where she couldn't continue doing the content the way she wanted by the company and had no options other than to leave. Counting some kind of strikes or "yabs" with Gundou is irrelevant. She represents an entirely different streaming culture, where you can do everything that isn't strictly prohibited by the platform, instead of being highly sanitized and being afraid to say literally anything in case stakeholders don't like it.
The company didn't start as a "serious" agency. You were always only expected to do it as a part time job, to the degree you want to and there was really no rules what to do and what not to do. Some did streams from internet cafe, others were renting cheap hostel room, Gwelu literally streams from a kitchen. The fact that management practically didn't exist and actively refused to partake in internal conflicts is a good tell. And now they have something they probably perceive as a huge liability - there is A LOT of their streamers who are popular and who are following the same mindset, but they aren't safe and stakeholders don't like them. They are going to find as many excuses and fire as many people as they see fit to make sure everyone who is left are in-line with new rules. And it will turn Nijisanji from "they are a bunch of cool people who can do whatever the fuck they want and not get punished for this unlike your sanitized Hololive" to "so what's the difference again?" and it will be fucking boring
I wouldn't be surprised if they will cull at least a dozen more people on JP side and that smaller JP corpos are suddenly going to massively increase their members numbers with familiar voices

Like what was been mentioned before, Gundou Mirei herself is no stranger to problems, either within ANYCOLOR/Nijisanji or outside of it. I myself don't have much knowledge since its mostly JP side, but I do know that it's mostly just small, inconsequential issues that became a mountain of trouble that just keeps piling up. This ranges from inappropriate remarks, yabai stuff, crass remarks during sponsored streams, all the way to her baseball thing. This is also why she have some sizeable antis, but not as big as say, NijiJP Chihiro Yuki who got big enough that she went and fight her anti in the court.
Anyway, speaking about Niji (that isn't either Gundou Mirei's graduation or regular "niji taking the L") stuff, NijiEN Pomu will be appearing as a guest in Ironmouse's Speak of the Devil thingie
