Another NijiEN graduation incoming, bros...

By the way, I would recommend downloading and archiving videos from Streamable if you can, especially if it's a spicy clip. I've linked to a few Streamable videos in the past and they've all been deleted for "violating TOS."

And one year after it was initially meant to happen as well, sasuga Pink Woman

In all seriousness though, I'm definitely looking forward to it, and wish that HoloLive EN TTRPG was a regular thing because it's good content - maybe put together a group of the more active members (CouncilRyS + Pink/Orange Woman + Ame + EN Gen 3 Copium) that can phase in and out as needed according to their schedule. Make a Bounty Hunter/Monster Hunter campaign, each session a new hunt, focus on inter-player camaraderie and mechanics of the hunt/bounty itself instead of an over-arching story - or, at least, that's how I would run things.
She did say she wanted to continue hosting TTRPG, but doing one shots instead.

Gentlemen, I have had a rather productive debate with an acquaintance of mine, but we failed to reach a satisfying conclusion. So, I turn to you all with a most pressing matter, and i require all of your retardation expertise on the subject.

Pippa Pipkin is a loli.

Discuss.

Edit: No, I really do want to know what people think lmao
Let me give you some educational material and you can decide for yourself.

Pretty sure she was mentally broken during Round 4, when she detached from the Valk ult and got killed early on into the round. She said she needed to go for a 5-10min walk after she died but I think it's pretty obvious she went to cry offstream. When she came back on stream, she was muted the whole time and had the whole "eyes blinking like crazy" whenever someone cries on stream. I feel bad for her but she is right that her nerves are the biggest thing screwing with her performance and I'm happy she's addressing it. There's a lot of skills that you can easily train for in a competitive game but being able to deal with the nerves of "150k+ people are watching and analyzing your every mistake" doesn't go away easily. You either get use to it from more experience or you learn to not give a fuck. She was prepared for the rotations, the game sense, and everything else but she wasn't prepared to handle tilting. Axel had the same issue where you could see the poor performance in the 2nd and 3rd round clearly having an effect on Axel's mentality.
Pretty much that was it. I was following SSK with rpr's stream in the background as he was having a watchalong with other pros and they were shocked she got left behind. Their words were that it's better to get wiped out than leaving someone behind.
I think a huge point is that during the scrims, they were doing relatively alright. They had some rounds where they got wrecked but they almost always had at least 1 round where they could pop off and just dumpster enough folks to make them feel confident in their play. This just gave them a false idea of how they would perform, as a few teams weren't taking it super seriously (fucking Matsuri spent half the scrims flirting with her teammates). When it came down to the real thing, their bad decisions put them in instant death for multiple rounds in a row, which just added to the tilt factor that they never addressed and their false sense of confidence was broken super hard.
I don't play FPS (motion sickness ahoy) so I am only watching this tournament for a FPS normie point of view but even from watching a bit of last season scrims are not a reflection of how teams will perform on the main event. I wonder as well whether they networked/scouted during official scrims as I only remember Axel playing with Towa once and that's it. I remember Suisei being a newbie last season tried to ask for someone to help practice (answered by VSpo's Asumi Sena). This time during the death match after the relay rpr filled in for Noah against his own team (Deron tried to teach him more crude Japanese "Oi, omae!" and "Oi Ema". When asked whether he knows Kansai dialect he replied "Nandeyanen"). Also from Scuddle's comment, having two leaders doesn't seem good when others have one and the others follow that one order.

Not sure how much my opinion is correct or not but this is how I think how the month went for SSK.

The captain (Matsuri) finds team members who will fit Hal's point cap (Elu and Ema) and depending on how they think they will need it, find a coach (rpr with Ika translating). From that they will see which characters they are good at, determine the IGL (can be different from the captain, Runa's team has Qpi as IGL), and the coach will offer comp suggestions and review the team's performance as well as maintaining the team spirit (sometimes be a punching bag but keeps the team in check, there's one time early which was not clipped in English where rpr voiced his annoyance when the team messed around instead of looting properly and after that they know when to play around and when to get serious).

Unofficial scrims are there for teamwork purposes as most likely they haven't played together and see whether the comps work. Sometimes team members cannot fit in the practice schedule and someone may fill in (I know Astel played with Mimi and Noah when Deron was away and the next day Astel drilled Deron when they were in their respective teams).

With official scrims and most players participating, final tweaks and scouting for opposition strategies. SSK had problems with Ema's Valk so they agreed she should play Seer with three days to go. Relay race for some breather and try to at least get a single good result for morale since they didn't perform well through the five days, eliminated early sometimes because of TSN griefing them (I recall rpr saying something along the lines of their griefing won't work in the tournament proper since it will be punished heavily). SSK won the final scrim and Ema cried in joy and relief (Ema herself sought out advice on how to play Seer and it seems Nazuna gave good personal tips).

Main event is when everything from the past month is applied. SSK did well apart from the second game where the audio bug caused them to get eliminated at 20th (they're down but as soon as the round ended rpr joined and basically said "Donmai" and "kusoge" bringing a laugh and have them move on). I did enjoy their revenge arc against TSN, especially on the third game when they ambushed Kanae (as rpr said) and eliminating TSN in the final game. The fourth game was close but the battle with AQF when Matsuri eliminated them in exchange for herself and EMA having the higher ground meant it was an uphill battle.

In the end seventh is far from the top but is a respectable enough position.
As the others said above, it get worse if you are also an entertainer competing in a popular online tournament. Even on tournament that are supposed to be "only for fun", you get people like Suisei, Aqua or Subaru crumbling under pressure and crying because of the fear of viewers disappointment in a freaking mario kart game.

Also, even in RL competitive sports, I don't think I have seen a lot of people doing an effective comeback and staying at the top for long, once you end your career and taste the joy of not training everyday, it's an impossible task unless you are passionate or super duper addicted to your previous activity to the point of sacrificing everything again.

This is where I appreciate Marine's approach in holo. With the Mario Kart tournaments she did not play the meta setup and opting to stay in character with the pirate ship, openly seeking help from Niji (Mikoto), fine with self deprecating jokes (she could have won last tournament had she not choked in the stage she preferred "who is the terrible person who chose this track?") and can be happy with second place.

I missed Kurumi Noah's utawaku earlier and sadly could not hear her sing Maribako. Why do VSpo members moved their singing streams to members only....

Huma Wat is now playing Clubhouse Games with Matsuri

From yesterday's collab, Subaru did not expect Yorumi yab.

Yakumo Beni recently celebrated two years since debut and watched her debut stream.

Looks like NijiVSpo are moving to Rust after VSai. Here's some Hinaano.

Here's Gamma reflecting on VSaikyo, the part where Dekani9 got Champion with Qpi crying tears of joy was so emotional.

Onolumi with some more Might and Magic 6

She modded the game so that she appears as the first character portrait in her party, complete with animations and voice lines. It's pretty cute, come check it out.

A bit off topic but I found a channel that posts ambient darksynth/black metal and romantic art focusing on the melancholy beauty of nature. Why am I posting that here? Check out the channel's pfp.

The Fauna pfp is somehow both juxtaposed and very fitting.

I agreed that Altare should not choose the Valk for the competition, he should choose something more defensive like Lifeline. I watched both TSB and Laplus team playing. Laplus is being chilled on the ring, and constantly used ult to obtain better defensive loots on the go (because she is bad at playing, so their team also play defensively).

However, I don't agree about the point on sit in the building. I saw a when the ring closed after 10~15 mins, there is still 17~18 groups in a small ring. Everyone played very defensively. Most of the team only went offensive when the ring of closure area fucked them over, or they had very bad loot.

Axel played very risky and always try to gamble on landing site with Valk, and always get fucked in the end. So yeah, changing the Valk into other characters should increase their chances
Can someone translate this to English, I would like to know what happened exactly as well.

One shots would do much better for people who don't have a lot of time and will likely not be overly interested in long-form TTRPG campaigns. The only person among the girls that would probably be down for a proper campaign is Fauna, since she played/plays D&D. Kiara probably would, too, if it could be scheduled at a time that wasn't ass for her. I can't see any of the others sticking with it.

Why would you say that :yagoocry:

Am I blind or is the crying fauna emote gone?
Holo member emotes were removed recently, except from dead accounts, like Sana. But you can use this.

I thought everyone hated the ttrpg shit?
I remember when they happened back in the homeland a lot of you fags used to bitch and complain about how boring and cringy it was and general pink woman hatred, the only episodes I saw people actually praise were the vampire casino one and the one where they literally couldn't get it to work and just fucked around and hung out for an hour.
