Why would you think that?

There's a pretty good chance Kick only exists to promote their gambling business. Assuming that's the case, Kick itself won't need to be profitable as long as it drives money to their casino games.

I think that's the main point of consideration here. Not making a profit (or not making as big a profit as humanly possible) might be just fine so long as the people in charge just see it as a form of advertising. In that regard I think one way it could go downhill quickly is if they started promoting the gambling streams, or even the sites themselves, so heavily that they become unavoidable. But unless and until that happens, streamers should get the bag.

I don't recognize the streamer nor the corpo. Care to elaborate why this is bad?

Streamer is Nadechama. We talked a lot about her in 2021-2022 on KF. Young cute japanese hafu. Earlier one of Takodachi's waifu (i really like her too previously). She started streaming as a high school student in the summer of 2021. With png and old macbook only. She was a sweet westaboo with problems at school and who was bullied by her own grandfather (hafu's debuff). The streams were mostly comfy zatsudans. Later she received a donation of ~$600. Her parents (seeing that she was seriously into it and doing well) supported her by adding money, and she bought a cheap (with 1060 or 1660 if i remeber correctly) pc for streaming. She tried asmr and the most viewers loved it. And gradually she renaming from Nadechama into Nadeshiko and turned into one of asmr gfe streamer. After that, I stopped following her. I'm glad, of course, that she now has stable 100-300 viewers and good donations. But that charm of the young "girl next door" (who tells you how her day is going and with whom you can just talk about everything) is gone.
