Eh I think most of their models are pretty great actually clothed roboZen for example is very cool looking, most of mouesys million models are good, froot is good, Melody live 2D is nowhere near as good as her 3D tho, all of Silvers are great, Vei I actually like her dragon more than her og succubus, nyans are good, himes is good so all in all the only bad one to me is Melody live 2D prolly cause it looks so odd compared to her 3D but even that grew on me a bit
Edit: forgot Nazuna her model is very cute
I dont hate the girls that coombait to be honest. That shit works. Look at Shylily, Numi, Yuzu, the Fire fox one that popped up recently. Dont hate the players, hate the game (coomers that whale for it).
The Mel Science Team memes were very funny before they got run into the ground. Especially the "Are you watching porn all by yourself?" ones.
edit: oh yeah, that was before vshojo, but y'know, point still stands
There might be a minor drama coming from the Ami/Onolumi collab in the future. Kiki, a vtuber pandering to 4ch and often playing older games, tried to express her excitement by posting in Ami's chat only to get immediately modded, after which she sadposted about it. It might've been due to excessive cursing though.
Kiki probably won't start shit but her fanbase is composed of autistic retards, deviants and bunny groomers - and they're feeling a tad offended by this.
Amiya's mods are well known for being heavy handed and protective. One of her mods, Noa, used to be known as Pete and constantly concernfagged in her chat in the early days. He even once DMed users on Discord to tell them to stop making lewd jokes in Jackbox or risk getting banned, even though Amiya was making similar jokes in her prompts.
Much like journalists, most mods are not human. I do feel a bit bad for Kiki, poor girl's obviously got some issues, but nothing will ruin this dream collab for me.
Shorts generate subs but as you mentioned they don't translate to engagement outside of that and from everything I've heard they are compartmentalized by youtube such that it's unlikely you'll get recommended long form content from someone you subscribed to by means of shorts. Some channels have decided to split and make one for shorts and one for their normal content as a result.
In this same time span she went from 500-800 viewers on average (CCV) to 1-1.5k, which is what makes me think it's more attributed to her audience breaking out and her being recommended by the algorithm than shorts necessarily. Sometimes youtube will randomly just spike your impressions to a factor of 10 or more on a random video and if your CTR and watch time are decent it will continue to roll.
Another great example of this is Nene Amano, who gets live viewers in the low hundreds despite having 143k subs. I actually found her through one of her shorts that managed to blow up.
She even had another one do pretty well relatively recently. It's funny.
It mostly resulted in a bunch of dead subs for her in the end, so there's likely something more to Susan's algorithm voodoo witchcraft.
Odysee has gotten a lot better since last year, and it looks like a ton of people are on there now that are big on youtube. Hope it keeps getting better so that the Internet isn't so small.
The Worms collab was wonderful. To be specific, the live commentary by Magni/Vesper. If the lads didn't do their thing the matches would have been pretty boring because of how turtle-defensive everyone played.

Considering that this is a cloud forum and that @The Proctor is footing the bill, most likely not. I'd say, go make an Odysee account. It's super easy, even if the uploads takes a bit of time to process.
I don't trust YouTube... but I guess if you keep it unlisted and put it on here it maybe ok, if it's nothing that goes against their rapidly evolving ToS.
Edit: I don't trust any company, but Odysee seems cool for now.

Ironmouse is probs my og oshi. She kind of what got me back into seeing Vtubers again when I saw her Alien Isolation clip years ago.
Honestly thinking of getting her Nendoroid cause of it
Sorry for double posting, but I'd say if it's archive worthy like some sort of Rushia moment (I almost forgot her name lol), I'd put it on Mega or Anonfiles.
