Kind of like the big Steam summer/winter sales. Used to be AAA $30+ games going on sale for like $0.99, now lucky for 30% off anymore on a sale or much more then they are already on sale for frequently anyway. It's just not special and I don't even pay attention to it anymore.

If you want to buy games for pennies on the dollar abuse regional pricing. Use some not very known vpn to set your country as argentina and use google maps to put real info about you address and shit. Don't try to put under street name something stupid.Steam is very anal and most known vpns won't work, finding one that works is the most annoying part. If you manage to create it then go to eneba.com and buy an argentinian steam card and redeem it in your account, buy one of at least 10 bucks if you want to unlock the account properly. You can use the account without the vpn once you created it and if you want to have your achievements most games work with family sharing.
You can use eneba to buy cards to buy from the store but the site takes a cut or you can use your main account, buy some csgo bullshit using USD, trade it to the argentinian account and then sell it from there, you'll loose the steam cut in the process but that's another way to do it. I've been buying games for almost nothing for years. When they listed elden ring on steam you could buy it from an argentinian account for like 30 dollars and on sale I got red dead redemption 2 for like 10

She wants to focus more on retro games, which I think for her is PS1-PS2 era.

Thanks for the information. About Nina going to Japan, any idea if she is going because of that marathon she talked a couple of times before her graduation, or just to visit?

I honestly don't remember if the marathon is this year or next year. She mentioned also going to do her JLPT in Japan so there's that. As for visiting, that's an option as well since she made plans to visit a muscle maid cafe (?) with Oliver. I'm actually not too sure what they're called, but she also just wants to eat more sushi, so visiting to just relax isn't an out-there idea. The main reason I said she was going to be in Japan is because she mentioned meeting up with Pomu quite a bit this year, and since Pomu is probably going to fly to Japan for NijiFes, it just made sense in my head.

Speaking of Nina, she has traveled quite a bit already. She went to America with Pomu so they could eat Wingstop, went somewhere in Europe to visit Kiara and friends, and then came back to Canada for Reimu and the Ethryia meet-up they always wanted to do. She's still probably going to be traveling for a while, and I mean a while, so I wouldn't be surprised if she stopped by Indonesia to visit Mika in her new place, Australia to see that whole group, and probably stop by Korea for the hell of it.

According to the alleged Niji leaker Shu's supposed to be graduating sometime this month, wonder if that's part of it.

Not this month, there was a leak sometime last week with luxiem in bartender outftis for kuji square slotted for November so it sounds like he's going to stay at least until then. Don't think you can hop off so easily when you have so many sponsors.

She talked about it in a membership stream and said that she would be going on a break for five or so days. Ike has gone to Canada before to hang out with Millie and Enna, there are also rrats that he owns a vacation house there lol, so it's not surprising he'd go with everyone else to be with Nina before she leaves for Japan. People are also saying Shu and Uki are going to be there, but I don't have any information or evidence on that front.

Between the lewdfauna chick doing soft porn ASMR streams, the chair girl, and a couple of them running NSFW Twitter accounts, EIEN already have a reputation for lewd material that's not going anywhere. The first generation of a corpo plays a big part in shaping the culture around it, so if you're not okay with that reputation you can blame the talent recruitment for it.

Yes and no. The ES crowd has always been there, hell i'd say a huge number of the Phase fans are spics. Most corpos have played with the idea but they have been too afraid to commit to it. We got Reimu and Hakka and thats about it. Hell Hololive took so fucking long to come out with a fucking EN branch that for an ES branch they would probably have to wait another year or two. We know that the ES manager they were looking for was for Hakka possibly but I feel like they are just waiting for someone else to do the thing. They waited for Niji to come out with the boys and almost a year later or so they did the same. I bet that once IdolES comes out (and if its a success) Holo and Niji will try to get more ES people in.

As for Tenma being a good judge of character... that only applies for external sources.

They 100% want to be the English version of Hololive. It's a general rule in business the smaller younger businesses are more nimble and something we've definitely seen the last two years with the likes of Phase and Idol able to snag multiple sets of talents between one single HoloEn gen. The outlay in terms of VC isn't really that much, compare to setting up a small store for example: a vtuber's assets are far cheaper and the cost of a whole gen is less than the cost of inventory and renovations needed to run a convenience store.

I think Aviel sees this as an opportunity to establish something now while the market leader is dragging their heels, and for the small companies that actually maintain their talent we've seen surprisingly little movement of talents out of them. The nightmare of course is you can't establish a decent fanbase of your own and are eternally seen as second rung stepping stone to Hololive.

I feel he's definitely targeting the areas where Holo is strong but not fully filling demand. The blatant coom-baiter, the shorts spammer, that all makes sense. ES is a good example of a perceived demand, which someone like Wactor has kind of proven, that the big companies move too cautiously to fulfill.

At some point the company will have its reckoning where they are moving too fast and have to slow down and develop processes. Whether it's some kind of internal drama bomb, poaching of talent to Holo/Niji, or the kind of copyright apocalypse that Holo barely survived, I'm certain that's coming for the small En corps. But the general startup business playbook is to push like crazy until you're forced to slow.

Holo Poaching might be an interesting thing to look at but it seems Idol is at a comfortable place to revenue share a higher percentage with the talents which is super attractive thing. Additionally, if they start looking into getting better merch ideas, they got this set.
