I'm not current, is the shitty "special edition" still the only official version available? If she's watching that, It'll be funny to see her reaction to the weird cgi crap that pops up from time to time. Personally I haven't bothered with the special editions since I found Harmy's despecialized edtion.Gooba member star wars watchalong in about 5 minutes from now, place your bets on how far we'll get

Why are so many women retards?Mari is talking about how merry apologized to her for talking about her. Can't clip because I'm working on some stuff but she's laughing about it and doesn't seem to be upset. She says she doesn't think he did anything wrong and that they're on good terms.
they have this weird thing when it comes to fags that they never denounce their bullshit, it must do something weird in their brains seeing a man acting like a woman I dunno. Why are so many women retards?
Amiya Aranha on how ad revenue is irrelevant, how YouTube Premium cut brings her more money than ads, and how dreamweavers and buckos should never turn off that pesky adblock.
I would agree with this. Her timeslot doesn't help either.Since Rie and her content is the topic of conversation, I think her best skills are collabs, karaoke and guitar playing. If Rie were lurking on this forum, I would suggest she try for one karaoke/guitar session a week (the guitar helps her stand out against other streamers who don't play instruments) and come up with a weekly show with the same collab partner/s, and one "who has a few spare hours this week to collab". I would assure Rie that she shouldn't be shy in asking others for collabs, there's lots of indies and other small corpo vtubers that want fresh content ideas for their audience. Every collab is a chance for her to gain new viewers, and her collab partners can gain fresh viewers too, and as I said, her collab streams are pretty fun.
Speaking of Hime, you may all have a new Hime to add to your collection.
(so you can still be sure that you won't be agreeing with me on lots of things)
Lmao less than a week after I wrote that message we actually agree on star wars sequels, fuck JJ, 8 was at least an original movie
8 was the ‘best’ of the sequels by far (it’s still bad, but 9 retroactively made everything worse because of how awful it was). Jj abrams is an untalented pathetic hack. And Kylo Ren was the only good thing about the whole series.
The problem seems to come from the 3-4 day forced hiatus. To me it feels like that was the catalyst for the whole issue. From the discord leaks, it seems that management was fairly supportive of her.Crossposting an update on Riifu from a few days ago.
My late thoughts:
- I don't like audio porn. But if EIEN management had a problem with that they would have said so much earlier. IIRC in one of her early streams Riifu specifically said she had permission. So that's not the root of her conflict with management. One can hold the opinion that coomtubing shows a lack of wisdom and that same lack affected how she viewed her business relationship with her corpo. I don't want to debate that. My point is EIEN wasn't cracking down on her coomtubing per se.
- My rrat: Riifu was grinding streams and corpo projects and falling apart, and upon consulting with management they cut her streams instead of the projects, leading to the realisation that yes, that's in the contract, leading to seethe. One flaw in my rrat is that I don't expect a corpo of EIEN's size and age to have particularly intensive non-streaming projects. The other flaw is that assuming consistent (if possibly unwise) motivations for all parties involved... may be a mistake, considering EIEN's age and Riifu's inexperience with Vtubing norms combined with inconsistent behaviour across accounts.
- Does anyone want to offer insight/debate on what is enforceable when it comes to NDAs and non-competes?
I would assume that Noncompete would be the problem instead of NDA. Pretty sure she can't say shit about what happened or talk about her contract other than maybe say a thing here or there and people later connect the dots. Noncompete does seem to be the main issue that she wanted to do a watch-along and they probably sent her a cease and desist by quoting the contract she signed which prompted her to cancel it.EIEN is in USA, while I would guess that Riifu is in UK. International lawsuit, good luck enforcing shit.
But in general, non-compete are very hard to enforce and their scope must be narrow or it gets thrown out.
I don't know details of NDAs enforceability, but it would have to drafted well and have proper scope. I think it is pretty good, but again, you would need to sue.
As you say, I feel like its retarded thing to bitch about but at the same time I do agree with some of the points people made by Evanit0 on his video. There does seem to be a lack of artists that will do black Vtuber models. That said, there are some Artists that wont draw male models either. Its not a racism (as its often framed as) or a sexism issue, though. The majority of anime is "white". The darker characters are just tan similar to Nagatoro. I dont think its too hard to assume that some people are just not comfortable drawing black characters. Hell even the AI has problems drawing black characters. Is the AI racist too or are there just not enough samples of black characters for the AI to use?Not even a complete listing as they're conveniently leaving 2 Holostars members on the list despite having the indie ttrpg dude listed lol.
The obsession with "black" VTubers has been the most mind-numbing argument among all the shit that gets discussed periodically, this is the same kind of people who would throw a fit if they found out the person behind their favorite dark-skinned VTuber wasn't black at all. If you care so much about a random streamer's race then just stick to flesh streamer, there's literally no reason at all to restrict your own VTuber avatar to something that represents your real race when the core of VTubing itself is to be whatever you wanted to look like (unless you're obviously trying to look offensive) and do what you like to do.
The dude who complains about all this need to get over it and stop being such a femboy already
if a non black artist draws a black character thats racial appropriation. Some older shit that i skipped for some reason.

Not only do you have to deal with retards bitching and moaning about getting the shading wrong, but you also get the retards that freak out at the thought of having a non-black person draw a black character.
Instead of bitching and moaning about it just make a fucking list of people that work on black characters and promote them. Give them more work. Highlight their work and once people see that there is a niche but profitable market you will probably see more artists jump on that train.
