And despite typically not being a fan of shit-touching, I'm glad they did, because today's antics have been fucking hilarious.


Following the increase in wild Nolan sightings, I propose to you a consideration: the Nolan Instrumentality Project.

One of the drawbacks of my oshi having heterochromia is having fan-artists flip the eye color. Take this for instance:

It's nice, I like it. But the eyes are flipped. First thought I had? Just mirror it (and flip the text, easy enough with no background):

Only after doing that did I notice the Bloom on her sleeve now being on the wrong side (should be Gloom now that it's flipped), and the red highlight in her bangs curving the wrong way. Now, by no means am I diagnosed with autism or OCD, but this bothers me. So I tried a different technique (for me), using the lasso to select the eyes and editing the hue:

I'm sure if one were to zoom in to the pixel-level there would be some rough edges where I didn't lasso it quite right, and I just eyeballed the colors as opposed to finding the exact right color codes, but as a whole I think it looks pretty decent.

So, all that said; does anyone who knows photo editing know if I did this stupidly or smartly? Are there better ways to do it?

And just because I talked about it before, my previous post talking about an attempt to mirror art (this one EVERYTHING was flipped except for the sign, so just editing eye color was not an option).

To be fair, while this shit is all pointless drama and typically is just autistic unicorn schizo'ing, it's in part being brought on by the whole gfe part of it. If it wasn't for the part where she courted lonely retards won't can't human interaction, then yeah I'd be all with the point of not caring that a person might actually be able to.. I dunno, act like a person, have friends, properly eat, fuck and whatever else.

ANYWAY on a side note since I haven't seen anyone point it out or bring it back up, Calli had that sponsored stream for Resident Evil 4 Remake and also covered up the puzzles on her stream. So I guess that is in fact Capcom's new autistic anti-spoiler clause.
Bettel on the other hand did not cover puzzles, and is the only one of the 3 4 holos I've skimmed playing who did not. Calli and Koyori both cover them. *
Edit before posting: I checked HoloStars Temma and he ALSO covered them. Unaware if any other Holo has played it currently.

Which makes me consider if Bettel possibly fucked up. Considering Bettel's track record I have a way I lean lol, but unless something happens maybe it's not a big issue. I can't moon rune so I don't know if Koyori's or Temma are also sponsored, but as far as I'm aware Calli and Bettel are.

I feel like flash games are severely underappreciated in the vchuuba world. Granted, compatibility, and a fair number were flatly deleted off the 'tubes in favour of the mobile market, but Newgrounds got a fair few running. Classics, too.

We need more chuubas launching hamsters into space, splatting green blobs with a giant sword, rescuing the little sisters of fancy pants-wearing dudes, or going crazy trying to navigate a red dot through deadly mazes.

Yeah I like her, I just think she made an unforced error catering so hard to the worst audiences possible. Between /k/ommandos, chumbuds and who knows who else, she pandered to some of the clingiest, most psychotic fuckers on the internet. Based on what we've learned about her personal life I suspect she gets off on having a lot of constant attention etc..but in the realm of vtubing it is never a wise idea to court that level of insanity.
Hopefully she learns from it and just deletes her PL shit but that itself brings problems because she likely wants a fallback and also she has people from there who've given her thousands of $ so dropping them risks generating even more antis. I hope and think this won't actually blow back too much on her, most of her whales are at least acting like nothing is wrong in their comments to her recent members post.
