The video doesn't show this but later on in the night he does a commentary over Pippa singing Ram Ranch at the convention. I wasn't able to find a clip of this, does Ghost Politics have some kind of stream archive?

I think I'm slowly becoming a fan of Ghost, he's actually kind of funny and probably a CaPippatalist considering he uses terms like "scuffed".

I'd say it's an 8.5, the atmosphere feels especially good. It's definitely a good worthwhile watch, but the calls of "a miracle" are fairly farfetched. A lot of people won't shut up about how it's emotionally heavy, but your mileage on that will vary depending on what you expect going into it story-wise. As far as the game itself goes, they've been working on fixing it and apparently it's pretty playable since 1.5. You'll still get some bugs and shit, but it should be at least decently close to the intended experience.

As far as the game itself goes, they've been working on fixing it and apparently it's pretty playable since 1.5. You'll still get some bugs and shit, but it should be at least decently close to the intended experience.

It really is a shame that the intended experience is so unreasonably shallow, and terrible for something that's been worked on for like five years. The game is basically a bethesda Fallout, but the guns feel good, and all of the actual RPG mechanics are somehow even more terrible, poorly thought out and designed, and the story is even more railroaded and doesn't respect your choices at all. Plus Keanu sucked fat fucking balls in that game. I usually like his movies quite a bit, but he phones it the fuck in as Johnny Silverhand, on top of just not fitting the character he's supposed to be portraying.

The game falling apart at every step is what actually kept me playing on that one, because outside of that it's an incredibly mediocre Fallout 4 total conversion.

In the meantime, Lie:Verse Liars` first manga chapter appears to be out. In case you don`t know/remember, it`s a crossover multimedia project between Nijisanji, Kadokawa, and Balcolony, where the Vtubers used are essentially treated as actors to the project's story, to a point where the characters they play out are noticeably based on them.

Catching up makes me glad I managed to change the registered email in the middle of the entire shitshow. Had to alter an onion link to barely manage it. I dunno if Lolcow email came back but it wouldn't do me a lot of good if it dies with the farms anyway lol. Now I just need the damn site to work at some point to check/fix the damage. Edit: Ah, speak of the devil.

I hope this place has established enough of a unique identity to stand by itself. It only costs me a not-insubstantial quantity per month to maintain it anyway. So long as there's at least enough activity for a few pages per days, that justifies it for me.

Probably worth skimming both and see where this goes. One BIG plus for this site alone is that I don't have to wade through the bitchfitting in the /vt/lunacy thread. Doing that back home was a fucking hassle because 85% of the thread was like 7 "anime bad, vtubers bad, watchers bad" people constantly bitching and moaning in their little circle jerk clogging up that thread.
It's pretty comfy here too though, but until everything settles we'll see. There's some merits to this spot for sure beyond just the lack of "weebs bad" nonsense.

Spoiler: Other assorted replies tidied up just a little

During Ollie's debut, she really turned me off. She was excessively loud, hyperactive, and screamed a ton. I really can't stand streamers who scream. I didn't like watching clips with her in them. I don't like Rushia for similar reasons, but Ollie was worse by far. I generally tried to avoid her purely for the sake of my ears. A lot of people who say she's 'annoying' are probably in a similar boat.

However, at some point (I don't know when because I never watched her stuff), clips of her stopped being quite so screechy. She is still generally hyperactive and enthused with everything going on, but it is in a far more subdued manner. I've actually started to like her quite a bit in recent months.

The second group are just unicorns. Connor simultaneously isn't very likable in general but is likable because of his interactions with Iron Mouse, so I can get people being conflicted. But at most, that (or any collab you don't like) isn't worth more than just not tuning into the stream. People who actually seethe over it are crazy. Like legitimately psychologically mentally ill.

I was like this as well with her. I think part of what swapped me around a bit was when someone first brought up that clip of her calling out some of her fans telling them off for whining about her English content or some such. She's still super enthusiastic and all over the damn place but it's still somehow toned down. Granted I still don't catch or watch much of her but I like seeing her show up.
She just needs to work on the mental since Ollie still has a few issues and moments where she lets her sad girl moment show. But she's been better with that too I'm pretty sure.

It has been brought to my attention that out of the blue Nodoka has been playing Splatoon with Polka, Miko and Koyori.

Someone was asking about how Truck-chan grew so quickly the answer is her second tweet "if I get 1k followers I'll let you come inside me" at 6 followers (cause truck) and Nux replied to the tweet since then she's been making a bunch of shitposts and gaining followers by being funny (example comparing how you see a gas station and she sees pornhub)

and meming it up with chibidoki and the like in this vid Nux deploys his chat to get her over 1k follows and then calls her on discord to congratulate her and she cries thanking him pretty wholesome honestly
