I don't like it because they are essentially using the same methods the scalpers use. At the same time, the scalpers seem to have bought out so many tickets that this tiny 450 of them may actually be a huge chunk of the ones available at their original price.

If anything Cover should just find a better service than fucking ticketmaster. Shit like fes doesn't get scalped nearly as much because they do the lotteries and shit, get it the fuck together you tards.

Bringing along a couple of handpicked smaller entities might make Phase look big and benevolent, like how big bands bring a support band on tour (something which Japanese bands don't do, interestingly). But yeah you definitely don't want to throw it open.

I think Phase friends would make a lot of sense to be included... looking at the success of Quest, Phase friends are definitely liked by the community. Someone like Filian would draw in an additional audience, and small indies that have good rapport with Phase talents (Hanamori Natsumi has collabbed with Pippa, Ferumi Kaipa has collabbed with Rie, etc) would garner a ton of goodwill for the convention. If Phase is big enough to pull off a Phase exclusive con then power to them, but I could see some select inclusions for sure. Definitely not a complete free for all with anyone and everyone like Offkai though.

Sadly like other said Ticketmaster`s Parent Company Live Nation Entertainment owns most of the popular venues in Murica or has long deals with them therefore shit will only get worse as Holo grows into bigger venues that are owned by them
