You guys forget that for new corpos spamming gens in the begining is pretty profitable and a chance to get lucky and randomly nab a diamond in the rough, thus micro corps are often incentivized to spam as much as possible like a tree growing straight up in the jungle to reach any ray of sunlight, often they don't get tall enough before they exhaust their investment and die or sell.
