My theory has always leaned on this. Also most of the talents that seem to be leaving are the ones that dont seem to be the ones that would be to keen to traveling to Japan as much.
I do think it does in a way. Indirectly it showed many of these talents that there is an option outside of corpo. Not much info in the EN side of things to show how things would be like for someone leaving a corpo other than Sayu.

They think she is 1) being really disrespectful towards Cover and Hololive and 2) disregarding PL etiquette. I have even seen at least 1 comment expressing annoyance at Dooby just because she mentioned her on stream.

Offkai growing too much is a huge problem especially given the now-proven track record of being activists that are the type that want to determine who they platform based on political beliefs and perceived wrong think. V-Allure's problem will start once the 2nd wave hits and the company grows in size. More competition between the members, more resources needed to produce the weekly audio scripts and content. Notice how most of the corpos tend to do fairly decently during their first wave. Once they decide to expand does the problems start happening for the most part.Guys we can't have the top 3 corpos implode in the west all at once. That just leaves the corpo that shan't be named standing
