You just don't get it, man. It's not performative. It's to send a message and force Gamersupps into a corner and force them to take action. Before, these creators would have their discount codes all over and in your face so you can easily grab them.

Now, people will have to spend an extra 30 seconds and go out of their way to find a discount code from one of their many other sponsored creators to get an extra 10% off of their drink powders, anime boob cups, and whatever other products they sell because who gives a shit whose code you use as long as you get the discount? I mean, sure, I easily found 3 GS discount codes from three different streamers that I don't even follow in less than a minute just by clicking around, but my "Anime Girl Thigh" and "Titty Milk" drinks just don't taste the same without the Rin Penrose or that gay looking male vtuber I don't remember discount code!
