Thought the discussion about merch after graduation started because they released the recent EnReco Myth merch which includes Ame, but turns out it's yet another Gura timeloop.

ngl i feel like alot of holo fans actually do criticize the company more than say, VSJ fans, especially Nijifans, COVER accidentally nudging people to care more about the brand honestly falls short when Holo people still survive on pretty well in their non Holo affairs, either while they're in Holo or after they leave

TBH I was never able to identify with those complaints. Sure, they can justify it as those being very very important tweets, but in the end they are still tweets. I care more about substantial stuff like projects, outfits, 3D lives, etc.

I feel that /lig/gers have deluded themselves in a very effective manner: have 2view oshis that could only be popular in their fantasies. It's a really weird delusion that more and more viewers adhere, even if they're not fully aware of their behavior. So the /lig/ger is more about hating corpos than the 2views he claims to like, and has full trust on their eventual relevance, so anything from them is the most amazing thing to ever grace vtubing.

I think its fairly understandable:

No one wants their favorite to be mistreated, and it makes sense to hold the company accountable if that was actually happening.

But fans can't see conduct that happens behind closed doors where everything important actually happens, so they go after trivial things like late tweets, or perceived fairness of who got what first. The overprotective behavior is channeled into things like who gets pinned on reddit or whether mane-san remembers the login for the official account or not, and for those cases it just looks like screaming over nothing.

Maybe this is just bait, but I dont get this mentality of gauging the "rightness" of decisions over "financial reports"
Humans are more than just numbers on a sheet of paper. Most viewers would prefer companies prioritize talent's happiness even if it means tanking financially. E.g. pulling out of china vs terminate coco.

Letting ame and aqua go was the right decision, when the alternative is just let them rot and not streaming. Both are now happy where they are. On the other hand we got ame into doing en reco/holo GTA and aqua doing her 120? consecutive days of streaming. Which would have been skipped entirely if they weren't graduating. Hololive really milked the shit out of aqua for the 5 months leading up to her graduation

even if you just look at the numbers, holo just had their biggest debuts ever with 190k ccv. There are definitely more eyes on holo than when aqua/ame was afk not doing anything last year. Whether they can capitalize on these eyes is another matter.

Tl;dr alot more things to look at rather than just "earnings"

Judging from some twitter users in the tweet's QRT, they tried to find the number that was shown and discovering that its pretty much a phishing number and uses VPN to hide their tracks.

And then there's one who firmly believed that its because of two well-known ID vtuber fanspage on facebook, Vtuber Posting: Universe (VPU) and Angkringan Vtuber (AV)


The accusations stems from the fact that most of the notable anti-Kobo hate came from there (VPU specifically) and it was intensified thanks to the stupid flower drama. As it stands though it is still an accusation and people still have no clue who the stalker was
