Actually kind of disapointing ngl. Pikmin 2 is Peakmin for a reason. I don't get the fear with Caves either, the game trades the limited time aspect of 1 with RTS Resource Management (your resource being the squad you bring into a cave). You just gotta learn to know when to cut your losses (Like having 3 Reds randomly get shot and then 8 Yellows get shaken off into the void by Man-At-Legs) and when to hit the reset button because of absolute bullshit like spawning me into a floor next to a Bulbear with 0 time to react.

Honestly, it kind of seemed like Rin had heard so much about how hard 2 was by comparison to 3 and 4 that it spooked her the second she made a mistake. Rin actually did FAR better than Fauna in terms of losses because she was familiar with most of the creatures, but she just hated losing Pikmin and didn't want to deal with challenging obstacles. For example: when she fought Man-at-legs in Pikmin 4 she had a slightly more difficult time, so when she clicked on a cave in 2 and saw "mechanical sounds" in the description she just noped the fuck out and never went back. Rin was also thoroughly spoiled on stuff unique to 2 like Bulbmin and the Titan Dweevil, so the streams sort of fell flat in some spots.

Overall, the Fauna streams were just superior, even though she didn't get to finish everything before graduation. Too bad too, Rin's streams are usually pretty fun.
