On the one hand, sure it's autistic. On the other hand, if certain britoids burn an entire community's worth of good will for no fucking reason, this is the kind of thing that should be expected. Certainly a much easier way to call Prostate Bunglelots a melodramatic twat than typing at him.

Anyway, even if this autism passes, the staff will conjure a new problem in a month. It'll be funny to see what the next arc is, or if it'll be a recycled one.
