Don't enforce "rules" (it's not a rule, it's your weak attempt at justifying your overreaction by retroactively introducing a 'practice') only when they convenience you, it makes you look even worse.

I finally found a way to scrape reaction data off the site, so at last I can pursue my statistics and numbers autism to chart out who gave me the most migos:

I go out of my way to find reasons not to enforce rules whenever there's wiggle-room, but there's just no steelmanning when a user explicitly, directly, unambiguously and plainly states 'I am engaging in this for the express purpose of pissing somebody off' in public.



I rarely look at reactions on a post beyond an idle glance at the bar, so if these users have been engaging in this behaviour then they will be looked into.



Maybe I'll just lock reactions behind a minimum post threshold if there's multiple idiots doing this.

The farms has rules against abusing reacts because there they actually subtract points, don't you remember that you yourself made it so that they don't do anything here? I didn't include "abusing reacts" under my rule suggestions because it literally does nothing and nobody gives a shit.

None of what you just wrote there is anywhere close to a good idea.

It also goes against the concept of being a (mostly) free speech platform. If the most minimal annoyance of a fucking sticker is enough to get you to restrict someone's expression, then you're not far away from reddit and other mainstream forums.
