The reason I liked TotalBiscuit is because he was very principled in his work as a gaming consumer advocate, and would give frank commentary on public interest issues in and around the industry even if he knew he'd lose revenue, business opportunities, and even personal friends for doing so. It speaks volumes how during GamerGate, when everyone else decided to just pick a side and pander, he'd continue to just say what he meant and mean what he'd say in complete earnest, even though on a personal level all it ever did for him was earn him enemies.
