Seeing the banter about parasocials and meltdowns, something been in my mind lately: would you be into this hobby if you were mentally stable and/or if your life were going on stable rails?
I don't mean to out yourselves but we don't need to lie, the autistic sampling in vtubing is astronomically high, from both parties.

For me, I would probably be less invested, but would always be up in my downtime if schedules match.

I have been a Vtuber fan for a longtime so i saw some of the worst that this hobby has to offer and that helped me to change my view of everything related to vtubers so yes: i would still be a fan regardless

You forget simple mathametics. I have atleast four debuffs. Two negatives make a positive. That's atleast 2 positives making me twice as straight, and normal than any other fag. That's 200% straight. While I still play games, this is also where I'm at. I don't watch TV or movies anymore. Video games and vtubers are really the only media I consume anymore, aside from some YT channels here and there.

As far as the original question, I'm not living the perfect life, but I have a job and pay my bills, so my life is stable enough. If I had more obligations than I do now, I imagine I'd still be into vtubing, but would just spend less time on it. I'm more of a vod watcher anyway. Especially since Lumi usually starts her streams while I'm at work.

I would argue its one of the main reasons I am happy. If I was already happy before going in probably not as much if any at all.

I certainly would not be this deep, or on the forum nearly this much, if at all. I would still watch vtubers though, much of the content I consume doesn't hinge on me being the way I am. I wonder who my oshi would be if I was a normalfag
