Eh, Dizzy's done the serious announcement fakeout a bunch of times and is still going strong. Although it doesn't seem to be something that Nyana normally does, it's not the end of the world if Nyana's actually decided to do a fakeout.

If I have learned something in this industry is that 5 vtubers could say the same thing, do the same stream, play the same game or make the same tweet. And one would be a nothingburger, another would become a meme, another would get into drama but then be rabidly defended by their audience, the next one would cause incite a huge wave of backlash and the last would get terminated.

In general the smaller/less popular chuubas get away with all kinds of shit that would be unthinkable for big corpo ones, not just because of management oversight, but because the bigger you are, the more eyes are on you at all times, and the more people wish for your downfall.

girl plays the game like its chess, its either book moves or good moves. Could not see her blunder so hard as to bait graduation, especially considering that she did indeed claim shes going corpo. Theres a lot more to fault her, uoh baiting, career climbing, ends justify the means attitude, but not incompetence. What you see in front of yourself, her connections, her subs, audience that outgrown flavr and phase,standing on her own, even her model. She built it all out of an ai generated jpeg and 3 years, basically nothing. Hustler, not a gambler.

If Phase isn't a full-stop "medium" corpo, at least in the EN space, then who is? They're at 29.1 talents, most of whom (on the EN side) are at least occasional 4-views, with some being expected 4-views whose CCV aren't far off from HoloID and even occasionally flirt with the lower end of HoloEN noombers. There's obviously a big gap between them and Holo/Niji in terms of total market share, but the only other possible contender for the "Medium is Premium" crown is Brave Group, which is a frankencorpo with pieces constantly falling off, and which generally doesn't get the live audiences that Phase does.

Nyanners didnt use her, Nyana most likely used her many connections to get Nyanners to join and Nyanners has always been a huge fucking hypocrite that will say and do what ever is the in thing to say.

Im well aware of all of her collabs. Im pretty sure she has mentioned Ironmouse and Chibidoki as being Vtubers she has watched in the past. Not sure if Nyanners was a part of it or not.

Phase is basically the only medium corpo in the west at this moment. Both in size and in talent reach. Most talents are in the 500-800 ccv range currently with a few constantly hitting 4-view status. Brave is a frankenstein of a corpo and hard to categorize. They own a ton of IP but most of their IP have tiny following atleast in the west. Im not too sure about their JP side.

They are almost comparable to Vshojo but Vshojo has more heavy hitters when it comes to CCV (but less members).

LMAO there is people in the replies asking why is this a issue when offkai has a record of having mental nutcases and unrepentant commies as staff members, if people believe we were doxxers you have not see anything, specially with Pippa having a meet and greet, would not be surprised if they make s blacklist with the fans of problematics vtubers to block them next year in the name of safety

Other cons like Anime Boston and Anime Impulse required you to bring your ID so they could confirm you matched the person who signed up. I'm surprised this wasn't already a thing with Offkai.

Most cons in Europe do the same, and never once did I have a concern about doxing because they don't write shit down, they just check and you're on your way again.
Also, if they wanted to dox, they could just check the data I put down when I purchased the ticket.
