Aromantica = no romantic interests.
A person can be interested in sex but not romance and vice versa.

Most people aligned with something else. You also don't gain "allies" and be included in a community by claiming non-interest, this is why "bisexual" became straight white girl's preference when choosing their lgbt's allegiance.
As far as it goes the "aromantica" thing doesn't trigger my Lgbt+ red flags.
