Earlier this year Rie and Clara also met and went to a gay bar, probably is talking about her since it's the most recent one.
Hong Kong Chinese and some amount of Korean via her (now deceased) father that attended international schools pre-university. University was in Australia and maybe she did a semester or two at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Not sure if she went abroad or did some kind of distance learning thing for SCAD.
International schools in the formerly British-held Hong Kong is where her distinctly English-Aussie accent and pronounciation comes from.

Not sure what country she was born in but Rie has Chinese parents, grew up in Australia and has an Australian accent (the general version).
