I have solidly been enjoying ENReco, just as much as the first season. And I'm very pleasantly surprised that's the case, with four departed since, and without the novelty factor.
It feels like everyone understood the assignment (daily stupid shenanigans) and even people who were a bit wooden last time have really stepped up and delivered.

I don't remember gura nor mumei having many notable interactions in enrique uno, and fauna basically just said "fuck the plot" and did her own thing. Ame was the only one that I felt really made an impact and that was driven in large part by gigi too.
Can I say how proud I am of gigi putting in 1000% in everything the woman does? She really got into Holo and it feels like she has never stopped squeezing that opportunity for every tiny droplet of juice it can give.
Cece/shiori is stepping up as well, all i remembered about season1 CC was that she was part of the pointed hats and that's it. Shiori built a house and never joined again after 1 day.
Tbf fauna fucking the plot was good in its own way, it spawned the scammer mococo arc. Not like it was 100% insular. And brought variety to the thing.
Beside calli's open mental asylum, most of season 2 so far is just schizo yuri stuffs. So much yuri would have gotten stale on its own if everyone didnt add their schizo spin on it.
Not faulting people for being busy doing st else. Just saying that she took a lot more active role this time around.
Gura formed the customs of the Crimson Wands and at least helped to make their motto. But after the second day she only joined every other day so she fell off in relevance aside from tangenting into the Gonathan stuff because she wanted to catch up on dungeons with Ame.
Fauna largely didn't care about the plot or the dungeons, but Faunamart and the lottery ended up a large sub-plot in itself.
Ceci, as I said earlier in the thread, tried dipping into everything around her. The largest thing I remember her doing was being a dirty lawyer for Mococo while actually working for Fauna.
Mumei was almost entirely out of my sight and just occasionally showed up like a cryptid in the streams of the people I was following. The only exception was when she got a Wand hat and was adopted into the guild, and the Nana-Eleven stuff.
Shiori I think had a trip scheduled in the middle of the event, so she couldn't do much.

Yeah, but Ame completely played along with it. I don't think that Ame and Gigi had even interacted with each other before, but Ame went all in. It was great.
Wouldn't you, if you were in one of these dime a dozen microcorporations and somehow got into Hololive? It's like she was playing on her high school sports team and got recruited into the major leagues. She knows how big of an opportunity she's been given and she doesn't want to waste it.

Some people that get in definitely don't seem to be in it for the grind, no shade at ERB but she's very obviously much less invested in shit than gigigolo. It isn't a bad thing but I don't think every member is there for the same reason or pushes themselves to take as much advantage of the opportunity. I like seeing members that come from nothing get the chance to really show their talent off and be popular for once, the ones who already had big personas aren't bad but it's a much less interesting journey, you don't really get that "cinderella effect" with them.
I think this kind of write-up should be featured or at least threadmarked

I find this part really interesting because the close physical proximity of HoloJP and ID very likely does help a lot with dissipating negative feelings and working issues out together with other members. And its this kind of support network that EN is cursed to never have. So the members must build up another support network outside of the company, and I feel like people are more or less good at that. Mumei for example, seemingly had little to no-one, not even her family. I have no idea if Fauna even has friends or family, but she seems to be doing fine on her own anyways, as long as she has cats.
Kiara has both her Family (even if her mom lives in a Hut in the Hungarian forests) and her cosplay circle and some other friends she meets with some regularity (and also cats). This is as good as it can get when you dont live in Japan.
Is Kiara going from performing to almost empty venues to sharing a stage with 10s of thousands viewer and many more on stream a Cinderella story?
There isn't one I can think of personally woman's been on the grind for this since she was a teenager I remember being a teen I could barely get myself out of bed to go to school and this girl traveled across the world on her own
I was just thinking this morning before getting on here that Kiara has really grown on my over the years. When she first debuted I didn't think much of her and thought she had such a weird voice and never really joined her streams. However, as the years went by and I saw how much effort she puts into things and how open she is, I have come to really appreciate her and everything she does.
