not a usual phase thread poster but people said that about Clio's voice like even recently here in the main thread but Mako is known to be trans.
That's common, some deep voice vtubers are assumed to be trans without proof, like artemis (but putting the trans flag in a tweet makes it really believable)
and I even assumed it from Clio the first time I heard her voice in a collab with shiina

Phase Invaders lets people keep their old identity and social media accounts. They might get new models and associated art, but they also get to explicitly attach their old identity to their new one - while Dizzy's and Ember got new YouTube accounts for joining Phase, they still use their old Tsunderia Twitter accounts. In fact, I'd say that's one of the points of Phase Invaders - Sakana gets a talent with a pre-existing audience that he can introduce to Phase Connect.
