The real point is that Hololive 2025 is not like Hololive 2020. The direction is changing, and the older vtubers are probably feeling a bit more sure about striking on their own, if they want. I expect to see more graduations even on the JP side. Some have been there for 7 years after all.

The direction changed like 2-3 years ago. Bit late to be crying for the death of JPs. Who's leaving from gen 0-3? Ayame? Everyone seems happy and there is no shortage of non-idol content. I also feel JP members are more then happy to work for 10+ years.

The only people who surprise me are the Stars and ID. The Stars because they are stagnant and ID because they haven't had anyone leave which is amazing.

I think Mike and Rica for sure would want to be in this current Holo.

More stuff on this:

The first server that lasts 10 days will mainly be PVE with minimal fighting allowed.
There's gonna be a big event on the 24th. Shion is confirmed but don't know about Mumei and Gura yet.
The second server will have specific rules for its PVP which will be announced soon. There might also be teams and such but the details need to be confirmed.
You "can" break those rules but doing so could come with its own risks
HoloRust was originally scheduled for May, but it was moved up so the graduating members could participate.

Due to successful PR, it's easy to forget they're also people who have negative sides to them.

Miyamoto is unbearable to work for. I was under the same Creative artiste bandwagon that nintendo zealots are, until Starfox Zero dropped and I just don't see anything other than a confused old man still riding on japanese business senior reverence and glories past (really past, the N64 was a lifetime ago)
