What does Holo have in common with "the average idol company"?
Do they hire minors? (recently)
Do they prohibit their members from having relationships?
Do they prohibit their members from talking about their real lives instead of some made up fantasy?
Do they kick out their members for getting too old/ugly?

Please do enlighten us as to what the similarities are beyond "doing concerts" and "having kayfabe" which almost all other vtuber corps do. "Issues with management" is not an "IDOL INDUSTRY" problem, they are something that happens in every profession which involves more than 10 employees ever created. People have issues with their working environment, pay, contract conditions, work hours and expected output every hour of every day, and people quit their jobs for these reasons constantly, how are these girls any different?

To me Holo has a lot more in common with shit like YT MCNs but more involved, this Idol company shit has always been a marketing ploy but retards still take it to mean that Holo runs exactly like an idol agency or that much of vtubing is like idol agencies.

Do we judge VSPO the same as eSports teams because they focus on eSports? Do we assume they work the same? Or do we just say "they're a vtuber agency that does eSports"? To me Holo has always been a Vtuber Agency that does Idol activities like concerts and has that as their main appeal, not "they are an idol agency doing vtubers".

Comparing "traditional orgs and streaming agencies" to vtuber corpos as if the former does even half the shit that many of the latter at least strives for, or in Holo's case, actually does is retarded. Hololive may be having some internal issues with various members leaving due to management issues, which absolutely needs to be addressed, but little to none of these "other options" are going to offer the same experiences that Hololive does in this sphere. That's fine for some who just want to stream, but there are plenty of others who want to shoot higher than just that.

I said in the Holo thread during Mumei's death spiral that Holo will likely end up just being for the absolutely lifeless grinders that want success over everything else and I keep being proven right.

These retards talk about there being other options but there has yet to be a corpo that can offer the same opportunities as Holo but without the problems, whatever other option there could be is not the same. Streaming on twitch as an indie and showing your ass for money is not the same, joining vshojo and being "le totally free" is not the same, even if you save up and try to set up your own events you're never gonna get 50 other chuubas to do it with you in front of tens of thousands of live watchers.

Maybe if you became the absolute 0.00001% of streamers and got hundreds of thousands of ccv and millions in revenue you could try but that's not a feasible option.
