FYT's has vanished from everything; nobody anywhere has heard from him in at least a month. I recall some people saying he was very sick or stressed out IRL a while ago, so he might just be gone, period.
Who do you trust to have absolute and total access to every aspect of the forum and all user info, emails, IPs, etc? That's basically what any dev would have. Obviously there's some amount of security I can put in place to try and prevent malicious actors getting info they shouldn't, but any level of code access involves a very high level of trust.
