You can get fruit flavored soju which is really easy to drink and those are sold at 13% alcohol content.

Personally while I do drink alcohol for work, I hate the bitter taste of normal alcohol, but I can down bottles of plum soju and actually enjoying the taste. Girls really love them as well. Maybe I'm a woman. But it's easy to understand why asian woman loves them.
