Damn that's rough. I didn't quite realize the extent of this when news first broke, but reading this out, yeah this might've easily been a murder/kidnapping attempt.
Hopefully she can recover mentally from it sooner rather than later.
The fact that the schizo was specifically aiming to get in when she was on stream is terrifying. He wanted people's attention while he was.... doing whatever he was there to do. I think being murdered was possibly one of the better potential options that was on the table there, as horrific as that is to say.
