I wonder how likely is that the vdere girls splitting from kawaii was because of a queen bitch behavior clash from Elia and Amano Nene, maybe Elia doesn't like being told what to do and she's the fabled female Vesper.

In addition to what others have said, pretty much all the Phase girls in California live with or near their families. Airi has her main career to think about. Lia has her college. They also all live in areas with very heavy concentrations of Asian culture that can be tough to find in lower cost of living areas. Also, regardless of how shit the politics and prices, the weather and climate are very hard to beat. I'm pretty sure all of the California members could move somewhere else and likely live off just their streaming income, but there's not much incentive for them to as far as I can tell.
