🎊Check out the new Kamioshi Shrine thread! Shill YOUR kamioshi here! Win prizes!🎊
April is just around the corner, and I'd like to use this time to remind users to donate in support of the site. I am looking into purchasing more add-ons to streamline and enhance user experience, and I am also going to hire another VPS for additional backup space and other important purposes in April.
In addition: I am looking for users who would be interested in becoming Orderlies for the new vtuber threads. Responsibilities would include highlighting and properly collating information in each thread, and also maintaining the announcement widgets for each thread. Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS (very easily learned) essential. DM me your interest.
Finally, I'm looking for anyone with intermediate to advanced HTML/CSS/PHP knowledge to continue work on the forum styles. I am willing to pay for this service, but if I do, I expect commitment and results within a reasonable timeframe. DM me any offers. Thank you.
Liz's announcement was that she will start releasing her cover of western songs on streaming platforms, starting with Blackbird by the Beetles on October 30.
Why did she list Philippine Standard Time on her schedule
My speculation is they're getting around needing a sync license by not putting out anything on YT. Or even certain mechanical licenses if there's no download options. Music distribution services sometimes just take care of the necessary issues for you on streaming services. Plus far less risky fending off copyright trolls or overzealous rights societies when it won't knock over the YT channel as a side effect.
A good idea that probably took a while to push through Cover's bureaucracy.

IIRC, she mentioned in her debut stream that she won't be posting schedules just because she wants to just be able to do what she wants and switch things around mid-stream like playing (and I'm paraphrasing the example she cited) Osu for 15 minutes and then getting bored and then switching to CS and playing that for 6 hours. Said she didn't want to post a schedule for an activity/game as she doesn't want people coming into the stream with nailed-down expectations for what game she's gonna be playing or what she should be doing.
Which I think is really telling on one of the things she found restrictive as Ame. You post a sched and you're stuck with that game/activity regardless of whether you're bored with it or not. Really comes off as her just really wanting the breathing space to fuck around and do whatever the fuck she wants throughout the stream.
I can now see why she created her own discord server to ping her fans during her debut so she doesn't have to stick to schedule and do freely whenever she's in the mood to stream.
