Surprised it took so long isn't she decently popular? Even discounting putting some funds away if the worst happens,
I think her joining Hololive proper gave her a much-needed boost, plus she had some concerts as her RM last year that seemed to have been successful. Her INNK contract may have been bad, too, who knows.
