Never seen people get so angry at people buying a damn gaming console before the Switch 2.

They’re gonna buy the console and be able to use it for a good 10+ years with software support for half of that. What the fuck is the problem? It’s pretty good hardware, it looks like, with an existing proven library. I don’t like the price either but christ it’s not our purchase to make.

Don’t have a Switch? You probably aren’t gonna buy it anyway. You do? Your Switch still works. It costs a little more than it should? Then don’t buy it.

If this “movement” is about third-world prices then the Switch 2 not selling in first-world markets (lol, lmao) is not gonna magically fix the price in other markets anyway.

It's ended up like this because modern day updoot activism has made its way to even the most trivial of "issues" and it's really fucking embarrassing. These people have convinced themselves that Nintendo's bullshit isn't just a series of questionable business decisions, it's actually a huge moral failing that they have an obligation to tell everyone about at every opportunity; so pair those with the desperate attention whores whose only validation in life comes from epically owning Twitter randos with like 20 followers, and you have a recipe for a perfectly poisoned well.

I've already seen a handful of people posting about playing Mario Kart with their friends just to be met with some autistic retard chiming in with a "TOTALLY WORTH $80 RIGHT???", and it just shows how inept the average Twitterfag and YouTube commenter is at reading the room. You're literally the "stop having fun guys!" guy at that point, nobody fucking likes him regardless of the situation.

It's actually kinda like the Hogwarts thing in a way, it's a sense of entitlement to demand everyone care about their pet issue as much as they do.
